Taco Shells

Prices checked by hand on 3 September 2026

Hard taco shells in the Philippines come from one place: Manila Bambi Foods, the same importer behind our masa harina, dried chiles, and tortillas pages. They stock four shell SKUs — one flour, three corn — plus a fifth that’s currently sold out.

If you’re after raw corn tortillas instead of pre-fried hard shells — for tacos dorados, enchiladas, or pressing your own — that’s covered on our tortillas page. Manila Bambi hasn’t stocked an uncooked corn tortilla as of this check, only these pre-fried shells.

Short answer

Cheapest: Bambi’s flour shells and Bubbling corn shells are tied at ₱45 for 12 (₱25.00 per 100 g). Pick flour or corn based on what the recipe needs — price won’t decide it for you.

If you specifically want a hard corn shell: Bambi Corn Taco Shells at ₱63 for 12 (₱35.00 per 100 g) is the only SKU Manila Bambi itself labels as corn.

Skip: the Lazada listing charging ₱109 for the same Bubbling Taco Shells that cost ₱45 direct from Manila Bambi — more than double for identical stock.

Bubbling and standard Corn Taco Shells are both corn, but Manila Bambi’s own listings don’t explain why one costs 40% more than the other, and neither product page shows a shape or thickness difference. The mini “4 shells cost more per 100 g than either despite the lower sticker price — you’re paying for the smaller, fiddlier format. Taquitos Shells are currently sold out with no restock date given. Watch the seller on marketplace links: the Lazada row above is a third-party reseller, not Manila Bambi, and marks the price up more than double.
